Screwed

Overview

Screwed  is exactly how it is meant after a night of drinking this premium tequila. Whether the person partied with friends, or stayed home taking shots, the aftermath is all the same.

Problem

Creating a packaging for a premium tequila while maintaining a packaging that solely is sustainable, recyclable, and reuseable.

Solution

Screwed Tequila will not only have sustainability, but the packaging will be reusable through a humorous and recycle friendly door hanger that consumers can use.

How many tequilas does it take to screw in a . . . who cares?

It started with a lightbulb shaped bottle at Hobby Lobby. It originally was going to be a package product for Devata, but was quickly recycled for the use of this project. When thinking further into what use for the packaging should be, it was narrowed down to tequila as it is something that tends to inebriate a person or "screw" someone up after a good time. Therefore "Screwed" Premium Tequila was born.

Typography

The typography used for Screwed was Univers LT STD with  39 being the main type for the logo. The change in making the lettering more rounded and using bits of a backwards capitalized "B" to create the curves of the E's.
